Dear Friend of
Virginia Wine:
Since launching the
Virginia Wine Lover eNewsletter™ in June 2006, we have
published 44 monthly issues, going on 45 this month.
During that time, thousands of readers have joined in to
get the latest news about Virginia wines and related
events from popular columns like Winery of the Month,
Bed & Breakfast of the Month, and Recipe of the
Month. Our Calendar lists winery and wine related
events throughout the state, and in order to bring you
late breaking news, we update and forward the newsletter
mid-month.
It is interesting to note that when
we started the Newsletter there were less than a 100
wineries in Virginia. Today, there are 160 and
counting! More wineries. More wine.
More Virginia wine lovers!
We appreciate your
continuing interest in the Newsletter and invite your
comments. (How do you like our new streamlined
format?) If you have article suggestions or
information for our Calendar, please email to info@vawinelover.com.
Cheers!
Frank C. Britt
Publisher
P.S. Spread the word about Virginia Wine: Forward
this eNewsletter to a friend and tell them to subscribe
to this free online newsletter.

A Dream Come True...Twin
Oaks Tavern Winery
While Donna Evers
is the proud, longtime owner of a thriving Washington,
DC-based residential real estate firm, Evers & Co,
opening Twin Oaks Tavern winery in 2008 with her husband
Bob was a dream come true. Inspired by the grapes grown
in Burgundy, France, the couple caught "vineyard fever"
while traveling Europe and first planted a vineyard at
their Bluemont, Virginia country home, Twin Oaks, in
1999.
